Jan van Scorel & the Havel Cycle Path
Havelberg-Berlin with 8 days / 7 nights from EUR 849
The Tour

The Havelland stretches from Berlin to the river Elbe and features glacial forests, fields and wetlands. You’ll find beautiful, well-tended towns amid the impressive landscape, which Theodor Fontane immortalised in his literature. The Havel Cycle Path is splendidly constructed and runs alongside the river. It’s suitable for novices and seasoned cyclists alike. Your starting point is Havelberg.
Here you can find more information about your boat, the MS Jan van Scorel.

Day 1 Arrival in Havelberg
After you’ve embarked, it’s worthwhile to pay a visit to the town island (Stadtinsel) and the Domberg.
Day 2 Havelberg - Rathenow, approx. 48 km/30 mi
The Havel’s tailwater is a flooding space and thus is a habitat to many rare animals.
Rathenow is the cradle of the optical industry.
Day 3 Rathenow - Brandenburg, approx. 60 km/31 mi
The West Havelland nature park offers loads of nature - with very few people. In the evening you’ll get to explore the picturesque town of Brandenburg on a guided tour.
Day 4 Brandenburg - Potsdam, approx. 59 km/36 mi
Alongside the Havel, with its several small and large lakes, you will eventually reach the state capital. We recommend paying a visit to Werder island in the historic centre.
Day 5 Round trip in Potsdam, approx. 18 km/11 mi
A half-day guided bike tour will take you to the most beautiful castles, palaces and parks, and in the afternoon you’ll get to explore Potsdam under your own steam.
Day 6 Potsdam - Spandau, approx. 30 km/19 mi
You’ll get to see the beautiful countryside around the Wannsee lake and the upscale villa district in the west of Berlin.
Day 7 Loop around Berlin or city exploration, 18 km/11 mi
Today, you can either cycle around lake Tegel and visit the Spandau citadel. Or you go an explore Berlin under your own steam - the public transport system is excellent!
Day 8 Departure
After breakfast your tour on MS Jan van Scorel along the Havel Cycle Path comes to an end.
