The political and economic situation is still difficult to calculate. Nevertheless, we do not think that we will have to expect fuel surcharges again in 2023, but we cannot rule it out either.
If a subsequent fuel surcharge had to be levied, the amount would depend on the sailing area and the route length. It would be fixed for approx. 4-8 weeks before arrival and must be announced at the latest 20 days before arrival. The levying of this surcharge is in accordance with European travel law and the General Terms and Conditions and does not result in a right to free travel cancellation.
