Fuel surcharges

The war in Ukraine and the state of the global economy have caused prices for fuel and electricity to explode. After two years of the Corona pandemic, many shipping companies have no reserves left and are in a tight squeeze. For this reason, a fuel surcharge is levied retroactively for some ships, the amount of which depends on the sailing area and the length of the route. It is fixed for approx. 4-8 weeks before arrival and announced at the latest 20 days before arrival. The levying of this surcharge is in accordance with the European Travel Law and the General Terms and Conditions and does not result in a right to free travel cancellation.
